1. Data Collection

PresbyFriend does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. All text recognition (OCR) is performed on-device using Google ML Kit. No text or images leave your device for recognition purposes.

2. Camera & Microphone

The magnifier feature uses your camera to display a live view for reading small text. Camera data is processed entirely on-device and is never recorded, saved, or transmitted.

3. Accessibility Service

The optional accessibility service takes screenshots to extract text from other apps. Screenshot data is processed on-device for OCR and immediately discarded. No screenshots are saved or shared.

4. Internet Access

PresbyFriend only accesses the internet when you explicitly share a URL for reading — it fetches the webpage content to display it in reading mode. No browsing data is retained.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. PresbyFriend does not receive or store your payment information.

6. Children's Privacy

PresbyFriend is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
